Head West Outfitters would like to begin our blog by thanking all the customers who have stopped by our website and visited our store in the last year! You have been the reason why we can continue bring the absolute latest in western fashion.

We are excited to announce our plans for 2012! For starters, we have revamped our logo which can already be seen on our main site, weekly newsletter, and Facebook page.  Stay tuned for additional cosmetic changes to the website as well as special merchandise offers, contests, and promotions.

Team HWO will be setting up vendor booths at even more events this summer, including the Slumber Parties sponsored by Star 104 and Country 98, and several local equestrian shows, fairs and rodeos just to name a few.  Watch for us at the PBR event at Hickory Creek Wilderness Ranch at the beginning of July.  We will be sure keep you posted on all these great events and have lots of merchandise so you can show up in style.  On a more current note, we had a blast taking entries along with the Wolf 93.9 to give away a pair of tickets and a limo ride to see Blake Shelton’s “Well Lit and Amplified” tour at the Tulio Arena on Thursday, Feb 9th. Wrangler spokesperson Justin Moore was a special guest at the concert. We promise one of these days, hopefully soon, a manufacturer will get us hooked up with one of their performers to do a meet and greet at the store!

Finally, and most important, be sure to join our mailing lists and “Like” Head West Outfitters AND our posts on Facebook to get the best deals and up-to-date announcements. If not, you may miss the several new vendors we are going to start carrying that you all are sure to love! hint, hint ;)

I\’ve always owned at least one pair cobowy boots. Currently an old pair of faded brown kangaroo leather (yes they are buttery soft and total awesomeness) that feel like I am wearing slippers. And the brown goes with anything. Best to get pair you can try on and return if don\’t like. The comfort factor in good cobowy boots is never discussed much. If they are thick and stiff you just aren\’t gonna wear em much. Spend the extra money and get a great quality leather that is SOFT.
